ESCAPE- Creativity at work for social inclusion

this is a youth partnership project (ERASMUS+ Programme Key

Action 1 TRAINING) aimed at developing the competences of youth workers and trainers working

with youth. The main topics tackled by the project are intercultural dialogue, escape-migrationinclusion,

and the use of creative tools and methods in youth work. The project foresees a training

course of seven days from the 5th to the 12th of November 2018 in Amstetten/Ulmerfeld, Austria.

Objectives of the project:

• to promote cultural awareness in participants and their intercultural learning process.

• to offer to participants a clear methodological approach and new tools based on arts and creativity

in order to improve the impact of their youth social initiatives.

• to share among participant’s local best practices in youth work and creative working methods

focused on promote social inclusion among young people.

• to foster new networking youth initiatives based on arts and creativity as tools for social

transformation


21 participants (Austria,Italy,Spain,Portugal,Greece,Lithuania) working in social context and 2 trainers  

will be involved in the training.

The methodological approach of the project will be focused on Non-formal educational, and the

working methods will include theatre tools, team building, simulations, debates, working groups,

workshops, evaluation sessions and follow-up activities.

The project’s main impact is the increased competence of participants (youth workers) in using

theatre tools for social inclusion, and the increased capacity of the partners’ activities for young

people across Europe.
